Dr. Arthur Leonard Nacht, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs and Edwards, died Dec. 20. Grave-site services were at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Scottsdale, Ariz. Born in the Bronx on Sept. 30, 1929, Dr. Nacht graduated from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1954. He spent two years in the United States Air Force Dental Service before moving to Colorado Springs to establish a private dental practice, which he continued until 1995. Leonard was an owner and developer of The Riverwalk at Edwards, which established a mixed-use city center.

Leonard was married three times, to Gladys, Susan and Lynn. Len was predeceased by his second wife, Susan Olds Nacht, and is survived by his children (and their spouses): Deborah (and Mark) Kupetz; Daniel (and Dana) Nacht; Stefani (and Guermantes) Lailari; Joshua (and Alison) Nacht; and Jacob (and Amy) Nacht; his sister, Muriel Weintraub; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Leonard was a remarkable man who had a positive impact on thousands of people. As a dentist, he was committed to his patients and passionate about his practice. Leonard loved popcorn, raspberries, wine, Hawaii, flying his small plane and skiing. He will be greatly missed.
