Beloved husband, father, grandfather,
and friend, Eugene “Gene”
H. Twehous, passed away unexpectedly
Sunday, June 2, 2013.
His final days were filled with
family and friends doing what he
loved: fishing, feeding his family,
playing cards, attending church,
and showering others with love.
He was married to Alice on April 22, 1960. They shared many
happy years raising a family, enjoying friends, traveling, and loving
each other before she preceded him to heaven where she awaits his
loving presence. We will miss him greatly and wish him love and
happiness in heaven.
A funeral will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 330 White Ave., Grand Junction ,
CO 81501. Burial will occur immediately after the funeral at Or -
chard Mesa Cemetery, 2620 Legacy Way, Grand Junction, CO.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grand Valley Catholic
Outreach, 245 S. 1st Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501, where Gene
donated many hours and made many friends.

Eugene Henry Twehous, 78, Grand Junction, died June 2,
2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Laura Johnson and Peggy
Payne, both of Grand Junction, and Dori Reynolds of California;
six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
