James "Jimmy" Roussin, age 59,
passed away on June 6, 2013,
peacefully in his home. He was
born on October 18, 1953, in
Vermont to Eddy and Catherine
(Anton) Roussin.
Survivors include wife, Dawn
Kier of Grand Junction, CO; sons,
James Roussin (Jenn) of San Antonio,TX, and Andrew Roussin of
Grand Junction, CO; step-children, Derek Kier (Amily) of Las Ve-
gas, NV, and Desiree Huerta (Adrian) of Las Vegas, NV; five
grandchildren, Jaxson, Lizzy, Grayson, Joe, Olivia, and Jake; father,
Eddy Roussin of Guernsey, WY; four brothers, Mike, Ed, Albert,
and George; five sisters, Catherine, Pearl, Bonnie, Joanne, and Susie;
and many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was a leader in the construction industry. He was a loving
husband and father. He enjoyed camping, fishing, rooting for the
Denver Broncos, music, and the simple things in life. He will be
greatly missed by everyone he knew.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday,
June 13, 2013, in the Mesa Funeral Service Chapel located at 2825
North Ave., Grand Junction, CO. Please wear your favorite Denver
Broncos attire. A reception will follow at the Duck Pond Park on
Orchard Mesa.
