CHILD SMOTHERS IN BED

Martha Caroll Weaver, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Weaver of Red Cliff was smothered in her crib between the hours of three and seven o'clock Saturday morning, June 22.

Mr. Weaver had fed the baby, four months and twenty-two days of age, at three o'clock in the morning, at which time the child was all right. Upon arising at seven in the morning, Mr. Weaver found the child dead in her crib, having died of suffocation sometime between the time he fed her and when he got up.

The body was cared for by Mortician Paul Andre in Eagle and taken to Salida for burial.
