Thomas Moeger, 81, Fruita, died March 31, 2014, at his home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. April 14 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.Mr. Moeger was an insurance agent.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; two sons, Rocky Lamb and Nicholas Lamb, both of Fruita; one daughter, Kathleen A. Patterson of Wayzata, Minn.; one sister, Margy Bouley of Wayzata; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Thomas Elroy Moeger entered into eternal rest on March 31, 2014, at Fruita, Colorado.
He was born November 2, 1932, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Peter and Marguerite Moeger and graduated from Wayzata High School in 1951.
In 1947, at age 15, Tom enlisted in the Army. He proudly served his country until they realized that he was only 15. He received an Honorable Discharge and was advised to re-enlist when he was old enough.
Tom re-enlisted and served our country from 1952 until 1968 as a fixed wing and chopper pilot reaching the rank of 1st lieutenant.
Tom married Marcella O’Conner in Wayzata, MN. They adopted Timothy
Ryan and Kathleen Ann. They later divorced. In March of 1975,
he married Kathleen in Rapid City, South Dakota.
He was an independent insurance agent for 50 years, retiring from Eagle, CO in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; stepsons, Rocklyn (Deborah) Lamb and Nicholas Lamb of Fruita, Colorado; daughter, Kathleen of Wayzata, Minnesota, and daughter-in-law, Suzie Moeger of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Margie (Gene) Bouley of Wayzata, Minneapolis; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother; father; sister, Beverly Poole; son, Timothy and grandson, Dustin Lamb.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. A Military service will be conducted on Monday, March 14, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado in Grand Junction.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Thomas Moeger Memorial Fund for his grandchildren at any Wells Fargo Bank.

Thomas Elroy Moeger, 81, died at his home in Fruita on March 31.

Tom proudly served his country in the Army as a fixed-wing and chopper pilot from 1952 to 1968 receiving an honorable discharge as first lieutenant.

In 1978, Tom and his wife, Kathy, opened G&M Insurance in Eagle, which he retired from in 1999.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; stepsons Rocklyn (Deborah) Lamb and Nicholas Lamb, of Fruita; daughter Kathleen Ann, of Minnesota; daughter-in-law Susie Moeger, of Ohio; sister Margie (Gene) Bouley, of Minnesota; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Beverly Poole, son Timothy and grandson Dustin Lamb.

Military services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction.
