Max E. Bloss, 85, Grand Junction, died June 18, 2013, at his
residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Military honors and interment will be at 1 p.m. at Veterans Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. Bloss was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Charline; three sons, Tom of Montrose,
Tim of Echo, Utah, and Ted of Walden; one daughter, Bonnie
Reid of Loma; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Max Elmo Bloss, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, at his
home in Grand Junction.
He was born November 21, 1927, in Collbran, the fourth of four
children born to Raldo Lorimor and Ruth Hanna (DuCray) Bloss. As
a young man he met and married Charline C. Griffin. They have
enjoyed 63 years together.
Max is survived by his wife, Charline; daughter, Bonnie (Chuck)
Reid; sons, Tom (Christy) Bloss; Tim (Kim) Bloss, and Ted (Sue)
Bloss; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other extended
family. Max was preceded in death by his parents; sister ,
Ione Ruth Fink, and brothers, James Allen Bloss and Richard Parley
Bloss.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 24, at
Callahan-Edfast. He will be laid to rest at the Veteran's Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made
to Hope West Hospice of Western Colorado, 3090 North 12th
Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, Colorado 81506.
