John Wellington, 53, a former Eagle resident died on Dec 3 in Denver. Wellington, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wellington, attended grade school in Edwards and graduated from Red Cliff High School. He attended business college in Colorado Springs and later served in the armed forces during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents. His family includes a sister, Esther Moore of Durango; a brother, Jerry of Belem, Brazil; and several aunts and uncles.
