Joe Marino LEYBA Sr., 75, Alcalde, Died Friday, May 31, 2013. Mr. LEYBA was preceded in death by his parents, Simplicio and Pablita LEYBA and siblings, Rosina GARCIA, Arthur and Freddy ESPINOZA.
He is survived by his companion of 29 years, Josie C. GUILLEN; children, Marino LEYBA; Sam LEYBA, Santa Fe; Timmy LEYBA, Albuquerque; Patricia SYREK, Washington; Aileen Leyba HERNANDEZ, Michelle LEYBA, Santa Fe; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary was recited June 6 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service was held June 7 at the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Alcalde.
