William “Bill” Joseph Chapman
III, 39 years old, passed away in
Rifle, CO on Monday, January 27,
2014, in his home.
Born on July 8, 1974, in Bethesda
, MD to Mary Ann Moore and William
Chapman Jr. A loving brother
to Tim and Jenny Chapman. He Married Tiffany Bird on September
17, 2011, in Fruita , CO. After high school Bill went on to serve in the
Navy. After completing his service he became a very skilled carpenter
and highly respected jobsite foreman.
He is survived by spouse, Tiffany Chapman (Bird) in Rifle,CO;
daughter, Kaitlyn Chapman in Pullman,WA; son, Dillon Chapman in
Grand Junction, CO; mother, Mary Ann O’Malley (Moore) in Berlin,
MD; father, William Chapman Jr.; sister, Jenny Chapman in Berlin,
MD, and brother, Tim Chapman in Bensalem, PA.
The service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 1:00 p.m.
at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction, CO.
There has been a memorial fund set up for Bill’s family at Bank of
Colorado, 1200 Railroad Ave., Rifle, CO 81650. All contributions will
be in care of Tiffany Chapman.
Enough “Thank You’s” cannot go out to all who have shown support
and thoughtfulness. We are so grateful and thankful to have each and
every one of you. So, thank you, with all our hearts. Bill was a loving
father, husband and son. He was an amazing and charismatic man. He
will be dearly missed and remembered always!
