Don Barnett
August 4, 1950 - February 1, 2014
was born to Lex Harper and Willa
Joyce (Jameson) Barnett on August
4, 1950 in Iowa. He passed
away on February 1, 2014 in
Grand Junction.
He was a loving husband, father,
and brother. Don was a Vietnam
Veteran and worked for the Salvation
Army retiring from the ARP
House in 2007. He then worked for The Daily Sentinel for five years.
He will be missed greatly and will always be loved.
Don is survived by his wife, Julie Barnett of Grand Junction; daughter,
Samantha Barnett of Texas; step-children, Sabrina, Dustin, and
Stephannie, all of Grand Junction, and sister, Jolene Achacoso of GA.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A special thanks to Robert Deal for being a very important part of
Don’s life.
