Glen Greager 1942 - 2014
Glen Douglas Greager passed
away Sunday, February 2, 2014, at
his home in Naturita, CO.
He was born September, 1942,
in Craig, CO, to Paul Greager and
Ruth Souther.
Glen enjoyed anything to do with
the outdoors, his family, picnics,
roasting hot dogs, rock collecting,
camping, fishing, exploring old
mines and riding his RZR.
He was a Navy Veteran who served four years active duty aboard the
USS Bennington, which was an Aircraft Carrier.
Glen mined gold and silver in Telluride and Creede, CO, Uranium
in Uravan, Rifle, and above Paradox. He drove truck hauling heavy
equipment, did body work and painted cars and trucks. H raised quarter
horses and had a Dun Stallion that he showed in halter.
Glen is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diana; five children, Deb of
Arizona; Corine and John of Utah; and Paul and Dewey of Colorado;
13 grandchildren, Amber (Joe); Bryan (Melissa); Tevor, Eric, Tiffany,
Kolby, Steven (Kayleen); Crystal, Paul (Stephanie); Glen (Lucy); John
Jr; Tristin, and Dewey Jon; 19 (and one expected in April) great-grandchildren;
his mom, Ruth, and brother, Vernon.
He was preceded in death by infant granddaughter, Grace McKenzie
Greager; dad, Paul; two brothers, Dewey Lathe, and Chuck Greager;
grandparents, Dewey and Bertha Greager, Jim and Elsie Souther;
mother-in-law, Iris Coleman; two sons-in-law, Mike Giersz, and Jeff
Terry.
As requested by Glen, there will be no services.
