Joseph Beilman, Jr.
November 28, 1946 - February 23, 2014
Joe died February 23, 2014, after
a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born on November 28,
1946, in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph
and Frances (Holmsteadt)
Beilman. He grew up in Longmont,
Colorado and graduated
from Longmont High School in
1965. He served in the Air Force
and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State
University. He worked for the Cities of Longmont and Grand Junction,
and for Mesa County for 18 years. He also served on the Town of Palisade Planning Board for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah (Forney), and children, Rachel, Maggie and John and the joy of his life, his granddaughter ,Macy. He is also survived by his siblings, Mike (Cherlyn), Margaret (Garrison) Wunch, Mary, Pete (Cheryl) and Theresa (Jim) White, as well as many nieces and nephews.
His passions were gardening, fishing, camping and skiing with his precious granddaughter.
A memorial will be held on Saturday March 1, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.
