John D. Wood Jr., 89, Austin, died Sept. 13, 2013, at his home.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Taylor Funeral Service
Chapel in Delta. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Delta Christian
Church. Interment will be at Delta City Cemetery.
Survivors include five daughters, Erma J. Rupp of Phoenix, Barbara
L. Nord of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Debra S. Bignell of Delta, Janet L. Yadon
of Palmer, Alaska, and Vicki A. Stults of Austin; four sisters, Marilyn
Loyd of Big Lake, Alaska, Dixie Anderson and Karen Thompson, both
of Broomfield, and Teena Trenda of Lakewood; 14 grandchildren; and
17 great-grandchildren.
