Angelina “Angie” Garcia passed
away on August 25, 2013, she
joined her husband, Tony, and
other family members, in heaven.
She was mother of five children,
eight grandchildren, and four
great-grandchildren. She was a
woman of kindness and love, with
a heart of gold. She showed everyone
she met that she was a
happy woman who was secure in her own skin.
Angie loved her religion and her lady of Guadalupe; her children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who always made her smile.
She loved Mexican music, dancing, cooking, canning, sewing and
crocheting, all of which she shared generously with her family and
friends.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 28th at 7:00 p. m.
at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Viewing will also be at the mortuary
on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St.
Joseph’s Catholic Church on Friday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m., with
burial to follow next to her beloved Tony.

Angelina “Angie” Garcia, 80, of Grand Junction, died Aug.
25, 2013, at her home.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church,
with burial to follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Charles of Tempe, Ariz., and Carl
of Grand Junction; three daughters, Cathy Garcia and Cyndi Garcia-
Kirby, both of Grand Junction, and Connie Runnestrand of
Fruita; two brothers, Joe Candelaria of Tonnco, Wash., and Alex
Candelaria of Denver; five sisters, Kathy Ochoa and Della Trujillo,
both of Albuquerque, N.M., Rose Campas of Bakersfield, Calif.,
Miller Lopez of Moab, Utah, and Hellen Chenoweth of Grand Junction;
eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
