Michael P. Meyer
May 24,1944 – October 15, 2013
Michael P. Meyer, age 69, of Grand Junction, Colorado died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Riverside, California after a courageous fight against both cancer and a debilitating stroke.
He is survived by his daughter, Anne-Michelle (Meyer) Ellis; son-in-law, David Ellis; two granddaughters, Addison and Parker all of Perris, California; sister, Linda Lee (Meyer) Kempf, and brother-in-law, Dr. Kenneth Kempf , both of La Crosse, Wisconsin; two nieces, Kendra (Kempf) Bringe and Katrina (Kempf)
Bringe, and cousins, Diane (Reed) Terito, Janice (Reed) Smith, and Karen (Reed) Talcott.
Lt. Col. Meyer served 22 years in the United States Army,
served in Vietnam and was loved by so many. He enjoyed golfing, made a mean Caesar Salad and will truly be missed.
Graveside services will be held November 1, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
