Lois A. Brodak, 98, Grand Junction, died April 28, 2014, at her home. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Martin Mortuary, with a services following at 10 a.m. Graveside services will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, William (Bill) and Jim, both of
Grand Junction; two daughters, Barbara Moore of Grand Junction and Beverly Bluhm of Corona, Calif.; two sisters, Esther Smith of Aurora and Betty Strong of Newman Grove, Neb.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, Memorial contributions to HopeWest Hospice, 3090B N. 12th St., Grand Junction 81506.

Lois Anna McMurry Brodak, a resident of Grand Junction for 72 years, entered the presence of the Lord on April 28, 2014, at the age of 98.
Lois was born to Perry Osman and Maude Alice McMurry of Helper, Kansas. She moved to Spring Gulch, Colorado at the age of two by train.
Lois married Bernard W. Brodak on February 27, 1939, and moved to Blue Mesa where their daughters, Barbara Jean and Beverly June were born. After four years, they moved to Grand Junction where their sons, William Louis Brodak and James Perry Brodak were born.
Lois loved to worship the Lord with friends and family singing and playing hymns on the piano and organ.
Lois is survived by her four children; eight grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Martin Mortuary on Friday May 2nd at 10:00 a.m.
