Lola Jane (Foster) Myers, age
84, passed away on September
13, 2013, in Porterville, CA.
Jane was born in Fairborn, Ohio
on July 13, 1929, and was one of
13 children. At the age of six, the
Foster family moved to Lodi, CA
and later to Springville, CA.
She earned her LVN degree in
1966. Jane was an LVN for 34
years and retired from the VA Hospital in Colorado in 1993.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Mayo; parents, David
and Mary Foster; brothers, James and Loren Foster, and sisters, Jeanine
Ward, Nancy Atchison, and Virginia Fuller. She is survived by
her sons, Robert (Carolyn) Myers of Vancouver, WA; Larry Myers
of Chipley, FL; Billy (Lana) Myers of Grand Junction, CO; David
Myers of Montrose, CO, and daughter, Barbara (Eddie) Johnson of
Terra Bella, CA. She had nine grandchildren, and ten great-gran dchildren.
Funeral services were held in Porterville, CA. Graveside serv ices
will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Orchard Mesa Cemetery
at 11:00 a.m.
