Born in Rifle, CO to William A.
Rogers and Veleta Jo (Erickson)
Rogers, Sam was raised on a
ranch in Rilfe. After a four year
hitch with the Marines, he spent
years driving trucks.
He is survived by his son, Rusty
(Shalon); two granddaughters,
Emily and Annabelle; his dad,
Bill Rogers; two brothers, John
and Eric, all from Grand Junction; a sister, Amy Jo (Chuck) Jones
from Beavercreek, OH, and his long time friend and companion,
Aleita Zeeck, from Grand Junction.
A memorial service will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday,
December 6th, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd.,
Grand Junction, CO 81505. In lieu of flowers, contributions may
be made to Homeward Bound, 2853 North Ave., Grand Junction,
CO 81501.
