Verla Mignon “Min” Hadden
December 3, 1909 - May 29, 2014
Min was born to William and Ella Womack in Delta, Colorado.
Min was 104 years old and spent her life on the Western Slope from Delta, to Cedaredge, and Grand Junction. Min spent the last 88 years as a resident of Grand Junction, Colorado as a wonderful housewife. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, guitar and spending time with her family. She was a charter member of Sweet Adelines, past Secretary of OAC, and also played guitar in a band, Hayseeds.
Min was preceded in death by her spouse, Arthur S. Hadden; her parents; two brothers, and a daughter.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Bette) R. Hadden, and three daughters, Gena M. Harrison, Kay Benson, and Lois (Bill) McAtlin. Min also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren to cherish her memories.

Verla Mignon “Min” Hadden, 104, Grand Junction, died May
29, 2014, at La Villa Grande Care Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Martin Mortuary.
Ms. Hadden was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Larry R. of Oregon City, Oregon;
three daughters, Gena M. Harrison and Kay Benson, both of Grand
Junction, and Lois McAtlin of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; 15 grandchildren;
36 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
