Louis William Fenno of Silt, passed away suddenly on Jan. 10 surrounded by his loving family. He was 77.
Louie was born to Louis C. and Florene (Heiner) Fenno on Jan. 13, 1938 in Grand Junction.
His family later relocated to Edwards. He attended Eagle High School where he lettered in basketball and graduated in 1955.
He married the love of his life, Barbara (Bittler) on July 26, 1959. While living in Eagle County, they raised four daughters. Ranching was his passion, but he was also known for driving a logging truck, mixer truck and a school bus.
Louie was a hard working man who enjoyed life to the fullest with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing his guitar. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially ranching. He always wore a smile. He was kind-hearted to humans and animals alike. If you knew him, you liked him.
Louie is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters Barbara (Ernie) Pyle; Donna (Dave) Chaudron, Carla (Neil) Nelson; and Lisa (Eric) Seago; his two brothers John Fenno and Clifford (Nancy) Fenno; and numerous grand-children and great-grand-children.
Services will be Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Eagle, 138 Howard Street. Internment to follow at the Eagle Cemetery.

Louie is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters Barbara (Ernie) Pyle; Donna (Dave) Chaudron, Carla (Neil) Nelson and Lisa (Eric) Seago; his two brothers John (Cookie (d)) Fenno and Clifford (Nancy) Fenno; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Eagle, 138 Howard St. Internment will follow at the cemetery in Eagle.
