Former Grand Junction resident Nellie G. Kinslow, 93, of Helena,
Mont., died Dec. 8, 2013, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God
Church in Delta. A graveside service follows at Delta City Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Robert of Dulzura, Calif.; one daughter,
Joanna Monter of Helena; one brother, Harold Robbins of
Haigler, Neb.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nellie Gertrude Kinslow,
93, was carried home to our
Heavenly Father on December
8, 2013.
She was born in Pawnee,
Oklahoma on February 26, 1920,
to George and Bessie Robbins.
She married Thomas Kinslow
on December 26, 1942, and had
three children. She was a devoted
wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister who held her family
close to her heart.
Nellie was a devout Christian attending the First Assembly of God
Church in Delta, Colorado, the First Baptist Church in Roy, Utah,
and many others. She enjoyed travelling, gardening, genealogy, and
baking. Nellie faithfully served as a volunteer at the Heritage Park
Nursing Home located in Roy, Utah for over 30 years. She never
failed to provide friendship, love, and support for those in need.
She leaves behind a daughter, Joanna Monter of Helena, MT; Robert
Kinslow of Dulzura, CA, and brother Harold Robbins of Haigler,
NE, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nellie
was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kinslow and son,
Larry Kinslow. We are grateful for the time we had with her and
for her loving and kind spirit. She will be forever loved and greatly
missed.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 16, 2013, at the
First Assembly of God Church located in Delta, Colorado followed
by a graveside memorial at the Delta City Cemetery
