Mrs. Nora GUTZLER, age 66, of Radium, Colo., a gold star mother and resident of Colorado for fifty years died at the Porter Sanitarium in Denver on Friday, May 6, following a four-months illness.
The deceased was born in Galesburg, Ill., and came to Evergreen, Colo., in 1888, where she married the late Charles GUTZLER in the following year. She had a son, Raymond, who was killed in France during the world war. A daughter, Mrs. Frances ROSS, and three sons, Clarence, Jesse and Alva, and seven grandchildren survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 9, 1938, at the Olinger mortuary, in Denver. Burial was made in Crown Hill cemetery in Denver, where Mr. GUTZLER and the son are buried. Mrs. GUTZLER came to Sheephorn in early married life, where she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
She was of a cheerful disposition, and the hospitality of her home will always be a pleasant memory.

A shadow o'er our life is cast,
We miss the sunshine of thy face,
We miss thy kind and willing hand,
Thy fond and earnest care.
Our home is dark without thee.
