Shirley Jean Condotta
November 19, 1965 - June 11, 2014
Shirley Jean Condotta, age 48, of Grand Junction, CO, went to be with the Lord on June 11, 2014.
She was surrounded by family and friends at the HopeWest Hospice Care Center.
Shirley was born in El Paso, TX.
She graduated with a business degree
from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. She worked as a pharmaceutical representative for 18 years, and retired in 2006. She loved to golf, walk the river front trail, kick-box, and most of all she enjoyed traveling with her husband.
Shirley attended Canyon View Vineyard Church and held strong to her conservative values. Her amazing selflessness was an inspiration to anyone fortunate to be part of her life. She was quick witted and always made us smile. Her life would seem too short, but quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Shirley’s physical life may have ended but her impact on all of us will live forever. She was beautiful on the outside from her smile, her hair, her presence.
More importantly, was the beauty that shone from her heart and soul in devotion, selflessness, and love. While Shirley was petite in size, her presence and beauty was grand.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, David Condotta of Grand Junction; father, Mark Lynn (Elisa) Adams, Birmingham, AL; brothers, Mark L. (Kelly) Adams, Jr., Dayton, OH, and Mark Adams, Boston, MA; sisters, Krissy (Aron) Olick, Fort Collins, CO and Ely (Clay) Jones, Auburn, AL, three nieces, and two nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Canyon View Vineyard Church, located at 736 24 ½ Road. Burial will be at Crown Point Cemetery, 945 23 ½ Rd., Grand Junction followed by a celebration of life at The Pollock Barn, 1041 24 Rd.
