Bob Colony, 83, Grand Junction, died June 30, 2014.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist
Church. Military honors follow at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of
Western Colorado.
He is survived by his wife, Terry; one son, Robert of Phoenix; two
daughters, Vickie Jo Miller of Phoenix and Lori Christensen of
Grand Junction; two brothers, Ray of Tucson, Arizona, and Kevin
of Grand Junction; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Bob Colony passed away the evening
of June 30th, 2014.
Born in Colorado Springs, he was
raised around his family’s bakery
which he eventually ran in Grand
Junction. He was honorably discharged
from the Army with the
rank of Corporal after serving as a
gunner and a baker.
Bob served Kiwanis in many aspects including Lt. Governor and
Governor. Along with the large quantities of awards, he has the unsurpassed
award of 45 Years Perfect Attendance with Kiwanis. He was
a founder and active member of the travelers club know as the Road
Runners. He was also an active outdoorsman. In his later years Bob
was a licensed Realtor owning the Century 21 Northridge office and
had once served as the President of the Grand Junction Board of Realtors.
He currently worked with Heiden Homes Realty.
Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years, Terry Colony; children, Robert,
Vickie, Lori and Kevin; grandchildren, Erik, Ashleigh, Jennifer,
Micheal and Keely; great-grandchildren, Kamerahn, Addison, Lauren
and soon-to-be baby Emilee.
Services will be held at First United Methodist Church on Monday
July 7, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
