Irene Edna Freshour, 97, Cedaredge, died June 25, 2014, at the
Retreat at Harbor Cove in Grand Junction.
Services are pending with Grand Valley Funeral Home.
Ms. Freshour was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Marian Foss of Grand Junction;
four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Irene Freshour passed away June 25, 2014, at The Retreat at Harbor
Cove in Grand Junction, CO, where she has resided for the past eight
years.
Irene Edna (Bertram) Freshour was born at the family home, west of
Eckert, CO on October 24, 1916, to Bruce and Marian Bertram. She
married Albert Freshour June 9, 1935. He is deceased.
She was a member of the Cedaredge Assembly of God. She was a
resident of Cedaredge for 89 years.
Irene is survived by one daughter, Marian (John) Foss; grandsons,
Gary (Darlene) Foss, and Lance (Paige) Foss; granddaughters, Melodie
(David) Bernatis, and Michele Lerae, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clarence; granddaughter, Noel
Foss, one sister, and three brothers.
Irene donated her body to Science Care. A service will be held at a
later date.
