Burnet Leon Haile, 83, Grand Junction, died Aug. 6, 2014, at
Hospice Care Center.
Mr. Haile was a terminal manager.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 16 at Olinger Crown Hill,
7777 W. 29th Ave., in Wheat Ridge.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Kahn and Diane Blecha;
two brothers, Billy and Sam; one sister, Judy Lynch; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burnet Leon Haile
April 14, 1931 - August 6, 2014
Leon Haile, age 83, passed peacefully from this earth to join Doris, the love of his life, on August 6, 2014. He died from complications caused by a severe stroke in Grand Junction, Colorado.
He married Viola Doris Hartz August 26, 1950, and they enjoyed 70 years of joy and happiness. Leon spent many years as a truck driver, and manager of terminals in Denver, CO and Los Angeles, CA for Kenosha Auto Transport.
Leon and Doris owned and operated an upholstery shop in Grand Junction, and later in his working career, went to work in the City Market Warehouse where he met many new friends.
Leon enjoyed fishing, golf, bowling, archery, riding his bicycle, and shooting pool. Leon owned five acres in the Fruita area, and raised horses and other livestock with and for the enjoyment of his children and grandchildren. No matter where Leon lived, his lawn and garden were always immaculate.
He is survived by his daughters, Debra (Greg) Kuhn, and Diane (Ed) Blecha; his grandchildren, Jason Kuhn, Brian Kuhn, Tiffany Blecha, Dustin Blecha, and his great-grandchildren, Malina Kuhn, Luca Kuhn, and Bryson Blecha. He is also survived by his brothers, Billy Haile, and Sam Haile, and sister, Judy (Roger) Lynch, and many nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Olinger Crown Hill, 7777 W. 29th Ave. Wheat Ridge, CO.
