Chrystal Lynn Breckenridge, 34, Grand Junction, died July 5,
2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
A service is 6:30 p.m., July 19, at Canyon View Park’s Grand Shelter.
Ms. Breckenridge was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Adam; one son, Bryce of Grand
Junction; two daughters, Shannon and Angelica, both of Grand
Junction; parents, Judy Larkins-Stevens, Rodney Stevens, Sr., stepfather
Ron Ridgeway and stepmother Myra Stevens, all of Grand
Junction; three brothers, Rodney Stevens, Jr., of Grand Junction,
Doyle Stevens Perry of Vernal, Utah, and Albert Blair of Fruita;
and three sisters, Rhonda Mills of Colorado Springs, Brandi Hoffman
and Heather Kiesler, both of Grand Junction.

Chrystal Breckenridge passed
away July 5, 2014, at St. Mary’s
Hospital; she was 34.
Chrystal was born on April 16,
1980, in Grand Junction from the
union of Rodney Stevens Sr. and
Judy Larkins-Stevens. She spent
her childhood in Grand Junction
and attended services at the Salvation
Army. She moved to Vancouver, WA for three years before moving
back to her hometown. While working at Rosie’s Café, Chrystal met
Adam Breckenridge and the two would unite in marriage on December
20, 1999, he survives.
Chrystal was a homemaker to her husband and their three children.
She enjoyed art, drawing, sketching, and painting. She was an amazing
Mom to her kids and enjoyed being outdoors with them, camping at
Mud Springs and loved amusement rides. Friends and family will always
remember her spirit of determination when she would say “I got
this” or “Beep Beep, I’m a Jeep” to the little kids.
Chrystal leaves behind her husband, Adam Breckenridge; a son,
Bryce Breckenridge; daughters, Shannon and Angelica Breckenridge,
all of Grand Junction, CO; her parents, Rodney Stevens Sr.; Judy Larkins-
Stevens, and step-parents, Ron Ridgeway and Myra Stevens;
brothers, Rodney Stevens Jr. of Grand Junction, CO; Doyle Stevens
Perry of Vernal, UT; Albert Blair of Fruita, CO; sisters, Rhonda Mills
of Colorado Springs, CO; Brandi Hoffman and Heather Kiesler, both
of Grand Junction, CO.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John Rudolph Larkins,
and Charlotte Larkins and a father-in-law, Donald Breckenridge.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014,
at Canyon View Park, Grand Shelter.
