Mr. Ortiz was a motel manager.
Services are pending with Brown’s Cremation Service.
Survivors include his wife, Corina; two sons, Guy of Fruita and
George of Denver; three daughters, Donna Ortiz and Angel Bettcher- Ortiz, both of Grand Junction and Bonny Sandoval of Montrose; two stepsons, Brad and Ryan Bettcher of Topeka, Kansas; one stepdaughter, Devan Bettcher of Grand Junction; two sisters, Shirley
Dale of Buena Vista, and Mary Jane Chavez of La Junta; 28 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
