Raonna, long time resident of Grand Junction and Montrose CO, was born September 12, 1959, in Cortez, CO to Vernon Dolan and Mary Ellen Moon, and died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the age of 54. She is survived by her husband,
Darrel J. Spradling, of Los Lunas, NM; step-son, Shane Spradling (Gretchen), and grandson, Jackson, of Huntsville, AL; step-son, Matthew Rodriguez (Meghan) of Greeley, CO; mother, Mary Ellen (Moon) Coffee of Montrose, CO; sister, Roanna
Griffin (Granville) of Alvin, TX; sister, Adele Frangos (William) of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Mauri E. Dolan of Montrose, CO; three generations of nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends across the country. Raonna was preceded in death by daughter, Danielle M. Dolan (January 4, 1998); father, Vernon E. Dolan (February 16, 1961), and step-father, Earl M. Coffee (December 30, 1997). Raonna was “Mama Rae” to many over the years. She was the strength for those who were weak. She spoke boldly for those who could not find the courage. She loved with reckless abandonment, never assessing
personal risk, or cost. It will be a different world without her. Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at Crippin Funeral Home in Montrose on Saturday, August 23, at 1:00 p.m.
