Wanda Jean Locke

Wanda passed away September 19, 2014.
She was born June 11, 1938, to Etta and William Daugherty in Phoenix, Arizona. Wanda had two brothers and six sisters. She worked roofing houses with her husband, Carl Locke, until she started working for and finally retiring from the Southern Pacific Railroad. She was an actress and dancer in her youth, having played in movies with Steve Mc- Queen. She won numerous dance contests. She also loved reading and gardening. Wanda was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her three children, Glenda Safken, Buck grandchildren, Holly Carey, Sheena Weller, Cory Krieg, and Devon Krieg, Sheyann Locke, Karlie Locke, and Brandon Locke; great-grandchildren, Trevin Weller, Lexie Weller, Lane Locke, and Abby Dalley.
Memorial services will take place on Saturday, October 4th, 10:00 a.m. at Martin Mortuary.
