Pastor Richard Forsman went
home to Heaven on Wednesday,
December 18, 2013 at the age of
61.
He was born in Anaconda,
Montana. Over the course of
his life he has had many great
accomplishments. Later on in
life God had other plans. He met
the first love of his life, Susan.
After they were married he attended college to become a pastor.
As a pastor he and Susan taught restoration classes. They helped
people realize they needed a personal relationship with Christ and
helped them find forgiveness for others. He and Susan moved to
Grand Junction, Colorado to continue their restoration ministry. In
2003 Susan passed away from cancer, however this wasn’t the end
to God’s plan.
A few years later he met Liz, who became the second love of
his life. They continued the restoration ministry and taught many
classes together. Their love for one another was very strong.
Richard was Liz’s second love and she will forever and always love
him. Not only was Richard a caring pastor who loved people, he
was also a loving father and Papa.
Richard is preceded in death by Susan, his mom and dad, and
his son Kenneth. He is survived by Liz, his wife; his sons, Chris
Forsman, Doug Forsman, TJ Forsman, Shawn Hazelbaker and Jeff
Hazelbaker; his daughter-in-laws, and precious grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mesa Funeral
Service in Grand Junction, Colorado. A Memorial service will
be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Potters
Remnant Church, 3098 I-70 Business Loop, Grand Junction CO.
