Williams “Bill” Cording, 76, Grand Junction, died Oct. 10,
2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Mr. Cording was a banker.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 24, at First Baptist Church in Grand Junction.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Campbell; two daughters,
Denice Cording-Laird and Lisa Maxwell, both of Grand Junction; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

William “Bill” Cording
December 22, 1937 - October 10, 2014
Bill Cording of Grand Junction passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 76.
He was born in Grand Junction to Clyde and Grace Cording. His youth was spent in the Grand Junction and Moab, Utah areas. After graduating from Grand Junction High School in 1955, he served in the United States Marine Corps.
He married Donna Campbell on May 21, 1960. They have two daughters.
He has been a great husband, father, grandfather, brother and so much more. He will be missed tremendously.
He is survived by his wife Donna; daughters, Denice Cording-Laird, and Lisa (Rod) Maxwell; sister, Jody Cording; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Cording, and his step-father, Henry Bechthold, and his mother, Grace Cording Bechthold.
Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church (7th and
Grand) in Grand Junction at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 24th. Services will conclude with military honors at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado at 3:00 p.m.
