Brian went to be with his Lord
and Savior on July 26, 2014.
He was born to Wayne and Marjorie
Bain in Lubbock, Texas. In
1964, the family moved to Colorado.
He graduated from Palisade
High School and soon after married
Denise. They had one child,
Dylan. They later divorced.
A weapons mechanic in the Air
Force, Brian was stationed in England. After retiring from the Denver
Rio Grand West Railroad he earned a BFA degree from Mesa State
College. An accomplished artist, he had a piece displayed in the first
downtown “Art on the Corner”. His work can still be seen outside of
the Center for the Arts. In recent years, he collected antiques.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Spencer Bain, he is
survived by his son, Dylan Bain and grandchildren, Owen and Aiden
Bain of Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Patti (Dave) Ward of Grand Junction;
brother, David (Tracy) Bain of Palisade; nieces, Bethany Feely,
Cassandra Feely, and Kali (Cory) Williams; nephew, Keegan Bain, and
dear friend, Coleen Simpson.
Interment services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Grand
Junction Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado with a celebration
of his life at 5:30 p.m. in Sherwood Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial, contributions may be made to Hope West
Hospice.

Brian Bain, 60, Grand Junction, died July 26, 2014, at his home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery
of Western Colorado.
Mr. Bain was a railroad firefighter.
Survivors include one son, Dylan of Nebraska; one brother, David
of Palisade; one sister, Patti Ward of Grand Junction; and two
grandchildren.
