David George Lyen, 71, Cortez, died Nov. 4, 2014, in Grand
Junction.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lighthouse
Baptist Church in Cortez.
Survivors include one daughter, Hillery Lyen; one stepson, Brent
Boren; two stepdaughters, Destry Boren and Vicki McDonald;
three sisters, Mary Pierce, Sue Cutler and Annabell Stickle; and
four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family at 11502 Colorado
Highway 145, Cortez 81321.

Services are pending with Brown’s Cremation Srevice.
Mr. Lyen was a hard rock gold miner and a U.S. Marine Corps
veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Hillery Lyen of Glenwood
Springs; three sisters, Mary Pierce of California, Sue Cutler of Kentucky,
and Annabel Stickle of Durango; and four grandchildren.
