Donna Mae Lee
March 31, 1954 - December 27, 2014
Donna was born March 31, 1954, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Howard and Norma Lee. She attended Clifton Elementary School, Bookcliff Junior High, and graduated from Central High School in 1972. Donna went on to attend Mesa College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree as a registered nurse. She worked at a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital and then at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Donna’s greatest accomplishment in her eyes was her son,
James. James was born to Donna on May 24, 1983, in Grand
Junction, Colorado. He went on to college at Mesa State
majoring in theater and has a degree in fine arts. He currently
teaches at Nisley Elementary School in Grand Junction.
For the past several years, Donna has lived in Westminster,
CO, due to a lengthy illness. She enjoyed jewelry making, needle point, and teasing those around her. In talking to her family and friends, she was always a joy to be around and liked to sit and reminisce about days gone by.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Norma,
and her brother, James Howard. She is survived by her son,
James Lee of Clifton; sisters, Diana Lee of Clifton; Tammy
Cramlett of Grand Junction, and Lori Dunlap of Clifton; brother, Charles of Grand Junction. She has five nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be January 7, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at
Providence Reformed Evangelical Church, 2430 Orchard Avenue, Grand Junction. Interment will follow the service at Palisade Cemetery, followed by a light reception at the Church.

Former Grand Junction resident Donna Mae Lee, 60, Denver,
died Dec. 27, 2014, at Park Forest Care Center.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Providence Reformed
Church. Burial is to follow at Palisade Cemetery.
Ms. Lee was a registered nurse.
Survivors include one son, James Arron of Grand Junction; one
brother, Charles Lee of Grand Junction; and three sisters, Diana
Lee, Tammy Cramlett and Lori Dunlap, all of Grand Junction.
