George A. Komatas, 81, Grand Junction, died Dec. 5, 2014, at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Orchard Mesa Cemetery. Mr. Komatas worked for the The Daily Sentinel for 40 years.Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia K. Carver of Palisade; Pamela R. Campbell of Mesa, Arizona, and Patricia Komatas of Grand Junction; one sister, Kathy Prince of Seattle; five grandchil-dren; and seven great-grandchildren.
