Raquel passed away November
12th, 2014, at her home.
Raquel was born and spent her
childhood in Fruita, CO. She attended
Fruita Monument High
school then later received her
GED. Raquel enjoyed gardening,
listening to music, and watching
scary movies with her kids. She
enjoyed watching the Broncos and was a die hard fan. She was a happy
person, always smiling and laughing. She found her true love one and
one half years ago in Dave Hamling and spent every minute with him
that she could.
She is survived by her mother, Elicia Lujan; daughter, Angel Lujan;
sons, Dillon Lujan and Samuel Garcia, all of Fruita, and her boyfriend,
Dave Hamling also of Fruita.
Raquel is preceded in death by her father, Orlando Lujan and her
brother, Tony Lujan.
A Rosary will be held at the Sacred Heart Church Sunday, November
16, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Monday November 17th at
11:00 a.m. followed by a dinner at Sacred Heart Hall. Burial will be at
Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita, Thursday, November 20th at 1:00 p.m.
