Wynona Jean Hetherington, 86, Grand Junction, died Nov.
18, 2014, at HopeWest.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Orchard Mesa Community
Church in Palisade. Inurnment will be at Veterans Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado at a later date.
Mrs. Hetherington was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Bert; two daughters, Sherry Hetherington
of Grand Junction and Vickie Graff of Glade Park; four
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Wynona Jean Hetherington, age
86, passed away at HopeWest Care
Center on November 18, 2014.
She was born on December 17,
1927, in Dalhart, Texas. Grand
Junction has been her home since
she was nine years old, and she attended
Pear Park Elementary and
Fruitvale High School. Wynona
was a housewife and a member of Central Orchard Mesa Community
Church. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and crafts of all sorts, and
fishing.
Wynona is survived by her spouse of 69 years, Bert Hetherington;
her daughters, Sherry Hetherington of Grand Junction and Vickie Graff
of Glade Park, and her brother Jim Scoggins of Grand Junction. Her
brothers, Billy and Joe Scoggins, and her sister, Wanda Muhr, preceded
her in death.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Orchard
Mesa Community Church on December 20, 2014. Burial will be at the
V.A. Cemetery.
