2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Fusilier of Parachute; three brothers, Chris of Grand Junction,

A pot-luck will be at noon at 896 25 Road, Grand Junction.Mr. Carmark is survived by one son, Shawn of Denver; one daughter, Kimberly Fusilier of Parachute; three brothers, Chris of Grand Junction, Steve of Parachute and Mike of Alaska; and two grandchildren.

Robbie Carmack was born January
7, 1951, in Aurora, Colorado.
He was the son of Robert and Betty
Carmack.
Robbie grew up predominantly
on the Western Slope, six years living
on a ranch in Silt, four years in
Rifle, and graduating high school
in Glenwood Springs, in 1969.
Robbie was an honor student, all through his high school years, and
lettered in three sports every year in high school. He was elected All
State, his senior year, and played right guard.
He graduated with a BS in Construction Management from Colorado
State University in 1974. After graduation, Robbie was in the real
estate business, for ten years, and developed the properties south of Rifle.
Robbie traveled abroad working for Oiltools International for three
years, before he came back home, and worked for Carmack Drilling
Company and Carmack Well Service, for ten years. He then worked
for EnCana Oil and Gas, as Drilling Superintendent, for 13 years. His
remaining years he worked as an Independent Professional Consultant.
The last six months of his life, Robbie was diagnosed with Liver
Cancer. He passed away in St. Mary’s Hospital, in Grand Junction. He
fought a hard battle, but God decided he had suffered enough, and let
him come home.
Robbie is survived by his daughter, Kimberly, and her husband, Josh,
and their two children, Kendra (7), and Isaiah (14), from Parachute,
and his son, Shawn, from Denver. He also has three brothers, Chris,
Steve, and Mike. He is also survived by his father, Robert Carmack, of
Grand Junction.
He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos, enjoyed going out to
movies, and spending quality time with his daughter and grandkids. He
enjoyed golf and Jeeping.
Memorial services are to be held at Clifton Bible Chapel, Saturday,
December 27, at 10:00 a.m. A potluck dinner, and celebration of life,
will be held at 12:00 p.m., at 896 – 25 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado.
All involved parties are requested to please bring a plate of food.
Services are entrusted to Palisade Funeral Home of Palisade, Colorado.
