Wanda Irene Heath, 81, Grand Junction, died Nov. 17, 2014, in
Grand Junction.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Martin Mortuary,
followed by services at 11 a.m.
Survivors include one son, Robert W. Heath Jr. of Lakewood; two
daughters, Sharron Blasdel of Fruita and Karen Johnson of Grand
Junction; one brother, Clyde Butler of Ada, Oklahoma; one sister,
Tootsie of Farmington, New Mexico; eight grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren.

Wanda “Irene” Heath passed
away at the HopeWest Hospice
Care Center in Grand Junction,
Colorado on November 17, 2014.
She was 81.
Irene was born to Erdie and
Myrtis (Harper) Butler on March
7, 1933, in Idabel, Oklahoma. She
spent her school years in Oklahoma,
where she also met and married the love of her life, Robert W.
Heath Sr. It was through this union that she had four children. The
family moved to Grand Junction in 1978, where Irene was a proud
homemaker and Robert retired. Irene excelled at motherhood and cherished
her wonderful husband and children.
Irene is preceded in death by her husband; son, Richard, and her
parents. She is survived by her son, Robert W. Heath Jr. of Arvada,
Colorado; her daughters, Sharron Blasdel of Fruita, Colorado, and Karen
Johnson of Grand Junction, Colorado; one brother, Clyde Butler
of Ada, Oklahoma, and two sisters, Pauline in Tulsa, Oklahoma and
Lorraine “Tootsie” in Farmington, New Mexico. She is also survived
by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 26th, from 9 - 11:00
a.m. at Martin Mortuary, with funeral services to immediately follow
and internment at Memorial Gardens in Grand Junction.
