Cleta Jean Krummel passed away on February 26, 2015. She
was 82 years old.
Cleta was born on September 13, 1932, in Claremore, OK to
Charles Henry and Pearl Bickford (Willhoite).
She married Edward Charles Krummel on November 10, 1950
in St. Louis.
She volunteered for Share Colorado for a number of years as
well as working the polls during elections, and liked to work the
health fair.
Cleta was active 45 years in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans
of Foreign Wars, and was retired from the California Department
of Motor Vehicles.
She enjoyed jewelry making and dancing.
Cleta was preceded in death by her husband, Edward and her
parents.
Cleta is survived by three sons, Mike of Hood River, OR; Terry
(Donna) of Baltimore, MD, and Marty (Darla) of Grand Junction;
nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces,
nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Cleta on Friday, March 20
at 1:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Cemetery, 2830 D Road in Grand
Junction.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers, Eagle Ridge
of Grand Valley, The Retreat at Palisade, HopeWest Hospice
Care Center, and Palisades Living Center that helped Cleta over
the last few years.
Donations are suggested in lieu of flowers to HopeWest Hospice
of Western Colorado.

Cleta Jean Krummel, 82, Grand Junction, died Feb. 26, 2015, at
Eagle Ridge Care Center in Grand Junction.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. March 20, at the Veterans Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado.
She is survived by three sons, Mike of Hood River, Oregon, Terry
of Baltimore, Maryland, and Marty of Grand Junction; nine grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren.
