Jane Kathryn Percival
May 30, 1927 - January 23, 2015
On January 23, 2015, Jane Kathryn Percival went to be with her Lord and Savior. Her husband of 67 years, Dale, and her son, Kenneth Joe Percival (Madeleine); daughters, Karen Weeden (Bobby), and Konnie Burton (Dale), were at her side, when she passed.
Jane was born May 30, 1927, in Liberal, Kansas, to Joe Allen Walker and Lois Hanlin- Walker. She worked as an administrative assistant and legal secretary with Climax Molybdenum Mine, while living in Leadville, Colorado.
Her favorite things were jeeping, dancing, including squaredancing and round-dancing, and she was also an excellent seamstress. Jane met Dale in Hooper, Colorado, and they were married on June 19, 1948, in Taos, New Mexico.
She was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother.
She leaves behind her husband, son, daughters,
seven grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, Bobby
Walker. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held this June; time and place to be determined and announced, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please give to the American Cancer Society,
or a charity of your choosing.
Services are entrusted to Palisade Funeral Home of Palisade,
Colorado.
