Clarence D. Craig, 85, Grand Junction, died Nov. 25, 2014, at the
Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Northeast Christian Church.
Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery in
Ouray.
Dr. Craig was a dentist.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Wall-Craig; two sons, Paul of
San Diego and Gary Green of Grand Junction; three daughters, Gail
of Arlington Heights, Illinois, Heidi Hansen of Litchfield, Illinois,
and Chavana Cox of Washington, D.C.

Dr. Clarence Craig, of Grand
Junction, CO, went to be with his
Lord and Savior November 25,
2014, at the V.A. Medical Center.
He was born March 28, 1929,
in Ouray, CO, to Charles and Ida
Craig. Dr. Craig was a dentist who
practiced for over 50 years. Dr.
Craig received his dental degree
from Northwestern University in Illinois and his Bachelor’s Degree
from Ottawa University in Kansas. He served in the Army and was a
Lieutenant Colonel in the Navy Reserve.
Dr. Craig had a wide range of civic and personal interests. He was a
founding member of the Mesa Monument Running Club and helped
start the Rimrock Run. He served on the board of directors at Boise
Bible College in Idaho and served as an elder at Northeast Christian
Church.
Dr. Craig is survived by his wife, Margaret Wall Craig of Grand Junction,
CO; his sons, Paul (Mary Jo Webb) Craig of San Diego, CA, and
Gary Green of Grand Junction; his daughters, Gail Craig of Arlington
Heights, IL; Heidi (Troy Friar) Green Hansen of Litchfield, IL, and
Chavanah (BJ) Cox of Washington D.C.; grandchildren, Gemma, William,
Eliana and Selah Cox, Derek Green, Kaili Hansen, and his sisterin-
law, Jane Craig. Dr. Craig is preceded in death by his parents and his
brother, Vernon Craig.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 1, 2014, at 3:00
p.m. at Northeast Christian Church at 2751 Patterson Road with a reception
to follow. Burial will be Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 11:00
a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ouray, Colorado.
