Bud Roe Gibson
August 6, 1942 - March 21, 2015
Bud Roe Gibson, 72, of Belleview, MI, died March 21, 2015, at Bronson Hospital of Battle Creek, MI.
Bud was born in Cameo, Colorado, the sixth of seven children, born to James Roe and Hazel Lorine (Freeman) Gibson. He was raised on a farm in Clifton, attended Central High School, and was an avid outdoorsman.
Bud joined the United States Army in 1963, served in Korea
and recieved an Honorable Discharge in 1965.
He retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 333.
Bud is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon (Derby)
Gibson; two sons, Daniel Roe Gibson of Phoenix, AZ, and
David James Gibson (Laurie) of Homer, MI; three
grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Kimberly, and Bud Roe (Hitomi);
great-granddaughter, Momo of Japan; sisters, Joyce Ross
(Charles), Roxie McDonald, and Vona Murphy-Milusnic (Ron),
all of Grand Junction, CO. Bud was preceded in death by his
parents, and siblings, Donnin Gibson, Helen Douglas, and
Norma Lee.
A potluck celebration to honor Bud and share memories will
be held at Sherwood Park, 3rd St. and E. Sherwood Dr., from 1 - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11th. All are welcome.
