Survivors include his wife, Claudia; one son, Francisco Gonzalez of Fruita; three daughters, Lyza Contreras and Mia Contreras, both of Fruita and Lariss Contreras of Alice, Texas; parents, Elmo and Maria Bazan of San Diego, Texas; two brothers, Silverio Contreras of San Diego, Texas and Roman Contreras of Alice, Texas;
