MRS. OLLIE MEYER, EDUCATOR, IS DEAD.
Mrs. Ollie Graham MEYER, superintendent of schools in Red Cliff a number of years, died in a Gilman hospital Monday after a brief illness.
She was born in Red Cliff Jan. 7, 1890, and was a graduate of the Colorado State College of Education at Greeley and of the Lamont School of Music. She was married to Oscar W. MEYER in 1919. Her husband, Eagle county deputy sheriff, was shot to death in November 1937, while attempting to arrest a holdup suspect on Tennessee pass.
Funeral services will be conducted by Battle Mountain unit No. 47 of the American Legion auxiliary in the school auditorium in Red Cliff at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
