Charles Massey passed away on April 23, 2015, of Parkinson’s disease in Grand Junction, CO. He was born June 30, 1925, to Nathan and Pauline Massey in Mt. Olivet, KY. Charles graduated from Indiana Technical University, Fort
Wayne, IN, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired from C. H. Guernsey Consulting Engineers of Oklahoma
City, OK, where he worked as an electrical engineer. He lived in Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and lastly
Colorado, where he was a resident for 35 years. He served in the Army Air Corp from 1943 to 1946. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Grand Junction. Charles’ interests were traveling and photography. He is survived by his wife, Josephine; daughter, Margaret (Dusty) Holman of Palisade; grandchildren, Elaine Hight of Bartlesville, OK, and Eric (Veronika) Hight of Norman, OK. His three brothers precede him in death. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7, at Callahan- Edfast Mortuary. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014 for Parkinson’s research.
