ART NELSON DIED MAY 7.
Gustaf Arthur NELSON, lifelong resident of Minturn, passed away May 7, 1965 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denver. He had been ill several months.
He was the son of Benjamin and Augusta Swanson NELSON, born April 3, 1899 in Minturn.
He attended school in Minturn and in April, 1922 was married to Helen Gregory in Glenwood, who preceded him in death two years ago. Mr. NELSON was a retired rancher, and had been living in Denver at 1628 So. Zephyr Court, prior to his death.
Father Thomas STONE offered funeral Mass fo Mr. NELSON at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Minturn, Tuesday, May 1 evening in Moynahan-O'Malia Chapel in Leadville. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, Minturn, with Moynahan-O'Malia Mortuary of Leadville in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Don MATHESON, Harvey CLINE, William BURNETT, Lem GRANT, Arnold NOTTINGHAM and Ralph MEYER.
