Samuel Larry Sturgeon, 68, Grand Junction, died April 14,
2015, at his home.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall, 3031 B 1/2 Road, Grand Junction.
He is survived by his wife Thyra; a son Terry Samuel of Grand Junction; four daughters, Charlotte Neal of Grand Junction, Roberta Martinez of Plattville, Alice Bertram of Aurora, and Jennifer Knez of Craig; a sister Elnora Pittenger of Washington. Indiana; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Alice Towers, 84, Fruita, died April 14, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in Denver.
A viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Palisade Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.
She is survived by her husband Frank “Dick” Towers; five sons, Fred Samson, Harry Samson, Steve Samson, Robert Towers and Ronny Towers; a daughter Toni Lister; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
