Alice Towers, 84, Fruita, died April 14, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in Denver.
A viewing will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Palisade Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.
She is survived by her husband Frank “Dick” Towers; five sons, Fred Samson, Harry Samson, Steve Samson, Robert Towers and Ronny Towers; a daughter Toni Lister; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Alice Joan (Brown) Towers
January 23, 1931 - April 14, 2015
Alice Joan (Brown) Towers, 84, of Fruita, passed away on April 14th, 2015, with her family by her side.
Funeral services were held at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, April 17th, 2015.
Joan was born in Fruita to Harry Brown and Pauline (Karp) Brown January 23rd, 1931. She attended high school at Fruita Union High School. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, archery, horseback riding, bowling, and playing cards including beating Bart at cribbage.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Pauline;
her eldest son, Don and youngest son, Lonny. Joan is survived by Dick, her husband of 52 years of Fruita. She is survived by daughter, Toni (Lyle) Lister; sons, Fred, Harry (Raelene), Steve (Marjorie), Robert (Karen), Ron (Lynelle); 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
